Instructor Q is a certified NRA instructor and certified USCCA instructor. He started out his firearms training at the age of 11 when his brother took him out for his first range day. Instructor Q took the knowledge he gained as a child to the military where he dedicated 23 years of his life to the military. While in the military Instructor Q taught firearms operation, firearms safety and was safety range officer. Instructor Q is now a civilian and teaches pistol training, rifle training and shotgun training, firearms safety and safe operation of a firearm.
Our Motto is, "Become Your Family's Protector". JEPS is dedicated to teaching you the required skills necessary protect your life and the lives of your loved ones. In order to accomplish this a student must understand firearms safety, how to operate the firearm in a safe and efficient manner, build mental fortitude, and understand the legal ramifications of the law. These concepts are needed to not only protect your but your family as well.

Our Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) Class consists of a total of 5 hours. There are 4 hours of instructions covering firearm safety, safe operation of a firearm, storage, transportation and Maryland law. The last hour consists of live fire which is required by Maryland law. After successful completion of the course a student will receive a Basic Pistol Certificate.
Our Concealed Carry Wear (CCW) class consists of a total of 16 hours required by Maryland Law. 8 hours consist of instructions covering firearm safety, safe operation, storage, transportation, . The last 8 hours are live range time.
